Dear Friends of Broomfield Meals-on-Wheels Broomfield Meals-on-Wheels was founded on a simple philosophy and continues today to operate on that same philosophy. The concept is that of taking a hot meal to a neighbor, visiting them and letting them know that they are still an important and treasured part of our lives. Broomfield Meals-on-Wheels relies on caring, generous, volunteer drivers every day. We receive no federal or state funding, but depend on the generosity of the community to help fund this important program. The number of people receiving meals in Broomfield has grown each year for the last seven years. We know that the group of people over the age of 80 is the fastest growing segment of our population. With your generous help, we will continue to serve everyone who needs good nutrition in order to stay healthy. Thank you for your contribution. Your gift will go toward directly subsidizing meals and indirectly toward helping older Broomfield citizens stay independent, in their own homes and healthy. Joseph
