We are a 501 c3 non-profit dedicated to helping the seniors and disabled residing within the City and County of Broomfield. Through fund raising activities we support programs such as Meals on Wheels, The Senior Scholarship Program, and Blizzard Bags for Seniors. The only requirements are, you must be a resident of Broomfield, attend Board meetings held on the third Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Broomfield Community Center, and possess a sincere desire and passion to help the seniors and disabled in need. Applications are available at the Broomfield Community Center, 280 Lamar Street. If you have any questions please send us an email and we will be glad to answer them. JOB DESCRIPTION VISION AND MISSION: In partnership with the City and County of Broomfield and the Broomfield Community, Senior Resources of Broomfield, Inc., an independent, non-profit organization, strives to improve the quality of life for all seniors and their families through fundraising, volunteerism, advocacy and representation of a diverse senior population to the Area Agency on Aging, and raising awareness about Broomfield's seniors' issues.
:The Board of Directors is the legal authority for Senior Resources of Broomfield, Inc., a private, 501 c 3 non-profit organization. The Board of Directors also serves a dual role as the DRCOG County Council. A Board member acts in a position of trust for the community and is responsible for the effective governance of the organization.

to the mission of Senior Resources of Broomfield, Inc. RESPONSIBILITIES: To
advocate for the independence, integration, and identity of older persons
in the community TERM: Members
are elected at the Annual meeting in December and serve for a two-year
term. Board members may be released at the end of the elected term by
resigning according to SRB by-laws. |
